About this role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to help shape the core Luminai product experience end-to-end. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to design clear, reliable workflows for complex, mission-critical healthcare operations. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll influence product direction, not just execution. You’ll be responsible for turning ambiguous, real-world workflows into intuitive product experiences that customers rely on in production environments. Your work will directly impact adoption, trust, and long-term product scalability. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working on complex systems, thrives in ambiguous environments, and wants deep product impact early on. This is a hybrid position. Our team is in-office 3 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu) in San Mateo, California. What You’ll Do Design end-to-end product experiences across Luminai’s core platform, from early concepts to shipped features Partner closely with Product Managers to define problems, explore solutions, and make thoughtful tradeoffs Translate complex operational workflows and AI-driven systems into intuitive, usable interfaces Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate intent to Engineering Collaborate closely with Engineering throughout implementation to ensure quality and clarity Iterate on designs post-launch based on real customer usage and feedback Help establish and evolve Luminai’s design system, patterns, and UX standards Balance speed, quality, and pragmatism in an early-stage, high-ownership environment What We’re Looking For 3–6+ years of experience as a Product Designer on B2B SaaS products Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and shipped work Experience designing complex workflows, dashboards, or enterprise tools Strong UX fundamentals paired with solid visual design instincts Comfort working closely with Product and Engineering in highly collaborative environments Ability to take ambiguous, loosely defined problems and turn them into clear, usable solutions Bonus: Experience with healthcare software, AI-driven products, or operationally complex platforms
