Adventist Health Portland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Gastroenterology Clinic located on our main hospital campus in beautiful Portland, Oregon.
This is a growth position within a collaborative, high-functioning GI service line currently comprised of 4 Gastroenterologists and 2 Physician Assistants , with active plans for continued expansion. As patient demand increases and our services grow, we are adding an additional PA to support the program.
Position Highlights

Full Time 1.0 FTE - Nurse Practitioner

Primarily outpatient clinic responsibilities, with limited, inpatient on-call MD support.

No call obligation

Supportive, collegial team environment

Role & Responsibilities

Inpatient GI consults and rounding

Outpatient clinic visits and follow-ups

Pre- and post-procedure management

Care coordination with hospitalists, surgeons, and primary care teams

Participation in quality initiatives and service line development
Ideal Candidate

Board-certified/board-eligible Nurse Practitioner

Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Interest in Gastroenterology (experience preferred but not required)

Motivated to grow within an expanding specialty program
