About the Role:
Alamos Gold is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team. You will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our gold mining operations across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis for mine operations
- Build and maintain financial models for capital projects and mine plans
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Analyze operating costs, capital expenditures, and production metrics
- Prepare financial presentations for board meetings and investor relations
- Support M&A evaluation and due diligence activities
- Collaborate with mine site controllers and operations teams
- Develop dashboards and reports for executive decision-making
- Support external reporting requirements (SEC, SEDAR)
Requirements:
- 4+ years of financial analysis experience
- CPA designation (or pursuing)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Mining, natural resources, or heavy industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
