Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a busy, full-scope academic setting with access to a wide range of clinical, surgical, and educational resources.
About the Department:

Full-service tertiary care department with:
•
30 part-time and full-time physicians
•
10 advanced practice providers
•
2 full-time genetic counselors
•
24 residents and 6 fellows
•
Over 2,500 deliveries per year
•
Annual ambulatory clinic volume of 18,000+ visits
•
Over 2,000 generalist surgical cases and 250+ family planning procedures per year
•
Patient population includes complex maternal and fetal co-morbidities
Key Responsibilities:
•
Provide general obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
•
Participate in hospital and home call coverage
•
Engage in teaching medical students and residents
•
Opportunities for clinical research
Qualifications:
•
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
•
Eligible for or currently licensed in the New York State
•
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
•
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
•
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
•
Interest in teaching and academic medicine
