About this role

The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center at Albany Medical College, as part of the Department of Neurology, is looking for a full time BC/BE Neurologist with fellowship training in movement disorders.
You'll join a busy outpatient practice with a steady flow of patients across the full spectrum of movement disorders. The center also has an active clinical trials program and robust collaborative research activity, offering the chance to balance clinical work with academic involvement.
We are looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a commitment to patient care and teaching. Experience with deep brain stimulation management and botulinum toxin therapy is ideal.
Position Highlights:

Outpatient-focused movement disorders practice with strong referral volume

Opportunities to participate in clinical trials and collaborative research

Involvement in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to Parkinson's disease and related disorders

Teaching neurology residents and medical students

Participation in conferences, case discussions, and curriculum activities

Support for scholarly work and professional development
Preferred Expertise:

Management of patients treated with DBS

Botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders

Interest in developing academic and research activity
Qualifications:

MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or board eligibility in Neurology

Fellowship training in Movement Disorders

Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State

Strong interest in education and mentorship
