We’re looking for a Product Engineer (iOS) to own and scale the core mobile experience at Alinea.
This is not a “just iOS” role. You’ll operate across the stack and work directly with the founders to design, build, and ship the product end-to-end—from onboarding to investing to long-term engagement.
You’ll play a key role in launching new financial products (including retirement accounts) and defining how a new generation interacts with their money.
What You’ll Do
Own the iOS app end-to-end: architecture, performance, and user experience
Build and ship fast high-quality features used by hundreds of thousands of users
Work directly with founders, product, and design to turn ideas into shipped product in days, not weeks
Build across the stack using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and MongoDB
Launch new financial products (e.g. retirement accounts) from 0 → 1
Design systems for onboarding, engagement, and personalization
Continuously improve speed, reliability, and product quality
Set the standard for engineering velocity and craftsmanship
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience building and shipping consumer mobile apps
Strong experience with Swift / SwiftUI
Comfortable working across the stack (APIs, backend, infra)
Proven ability to ship quickly and iterate based on real user feedback
Strong product instincts—you care deeply about the user experience
High ownership mindset—you don’t wait for specs, you drive outcomes

You’ve built or scaled 0→1 products
You’ve operated in a fast-moving, low-structure environment
You care about craft, but you care more about impact
