Job Summary:
Provides assistance to anesthesia provider as they administer anesthesia by assembling drugs and equipment needed for scheduled procedures. Cleans, orders, stocks, assembles, and organizes equipment used by anesthesia provider.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Orders, stocks, cleans, and inspects anesthesia equipment and supplies needed for surgical procedures.
- Reviews the daily schedules of procedures and assembles supplies needed for each procedure.
- Obtains additional supplies needed by the anesthesia provider during procedure.
- Removes equipment and supplies used by the anesthesia provider following procedure.
- Assures that equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized following use.
- Assists in preparing the surgical suite for next procedure.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
