Position Overview
The successful candidate will support the management of complex business matters requiring coordination across legal, financial, and operational functions. This role requires experience with document preparation and review, stakeholder communication, outside vendor management, regulatory and procedural compliance, and tracking critical deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Of The Paralegal
Prepare, review, and manage a variety of legal and business-related documents, correspondence, and agreements.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to support the resolution of account and contractual matters.
Monitor and maintain matter status, key deadlines, and required follow-up actions.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure timely progression of assigned matters.
Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems and databases.
Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of legal filings, claims, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
Compile and organize exhibits, records, and evidence for hearings, proceedings, and other legal matters.
Support attorneys and business partners by gathering information, conducting research, and preparing case summaries.
Coordinate with outside counsel and service providers regarding ongoing matters and legal processes.
Participate in hearings, meetings, and proceedings as required.
Required Experience/Skills For The Paralegal
3+ years of legal experience in collections and/or litigation/bankruptcy.
Knowledge of court procedures and legal drafting.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The Paralegal
Real estate experience preferred.
Paralegal certificate preferred.
Previous experience at a law firm or corporate legal department.
Education Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
