About the Role:
AutoTrader.ca is looking for an HR Manager to lead people and culture initiatives as we continue to grow. You will be a strategic partner to leadership, driving employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational design
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations and conflict resolution
- Drive talent acquisition strategy in partnership with recruitment team
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs
- Design and deliver employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Manage performance management processes and manager coaching
- Ensure compliance with Canadian employment legislation
- Analyze HR data and metrics to inform decisions
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion programs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with management responsibilities
- CHRP or CHRL designation (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law (Ontario)
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, BambooHR, or similar)
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
- Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
- Experience in technology or digital media industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
