Bayhealth is seeking OB Hospitalists to join our growing, hospital-employed team supporting a rapidly expanding women's services program in Central and Southern Delaware.
With 2,800 annual deliveries (1,800 Kent | 1,000 Sussex) and continued population growth, this is an opportunity to step into a high-volume, well-supported environment with the flexibility to shape the role that fits your career goals.
OB Hospitalist Role | Focus on Inpatient Care

Flexible scheduling with 24-hour shifts available

Inpatient-only model-no clinic responsibilities

Work alongside Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and a highly skilled nursing team

Modern, centralized unit design:

10 LDRs, 4 OB ED/triage rooms

2 dedicated ORs adjacent to NICU

Pre-op, PACU, and postpartum units designed for efficiency

24/7 in-house support: anesthesia, pediatrics, and neonatal providers always available

Staffing aligned with ACOG A-1 perinatal guidelines for safe, high-quality care
