Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Roofing Technician to install, repair, and replace roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoy working outdoors, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Install roofing systems including composition shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofing membranes
- Perform tear-offs of existing roofing materials and prepare roof decks for new installations
- Install underlayment, ice and water shield, flashing, and ventilation components
- Repair leaks, damaged shingles, and deteriorated flashing
- Operate roofing tools and equipment safely including nail guns, saws, and hoists
- Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and local building codes
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, including proper debris disposal
- Work as part of a crew, following foreman instructions and project timelines
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in roofing installation
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques
- Comfortable working at heights on steep and flat roofs
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
