Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated HVAC Sales Consultant to meet with homeowners and business owners, assess their comfort needs, and recommend the right heating and cooling solutions. This is a customer-facing role that combines technical knowledge with relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to assess customer heating and cooling needs
- Perform Manual J load calculations and system sizing recommendations
- Present equipment options, pricing, and financing to customers
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company pricing tools
- Follow up with leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline using CRM software
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Stay current on new HVAC products, rebates, tax credits, and energy efficiency programs
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
- Attend trade shows, home shows, and community events as a company representative
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC sales or home improvement sales
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and energy efficiency
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and digital estimating tools
- Valid driver's license and professional appearance
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends for customer appointments
- NATE, BPI, or other industry certifications are a plus
