Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to help translate real-world hiring processes into scalable, data-driven systems.

This role is ideal for someone with a quality engineering, process improvement, or operations background who excels at:

Breaking down complex workflows

Defining KPIs and metrics

Identifying inefficiencies

Turning ambiguity into structured logic

You will work closely with:

Product & engineering teams

AI/ML engineers

Founder & leadership

Your mission:
turn hiring behavior, HR actions, and platform usage into measurable, analyzable, and improvable systems.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Process Analysis

Analyze end-to-end hiring workflows (screening → interviews → evaluations → decisions)

Map current vs future-state processes for companies using Beaverhand

Identify inefficiencies, bias risks, and decision gaps

Translate human decision behavior into structured business logic

Data & Metrics Definition

Define KPIs for:

Interview quality

Candidate performance signals

Hiring funnel efficiency

Recruiter and hiring manager behavior

Design metrics frameworks similar to operational KPIs (yield, defects, variance, reliability — adapted to hiring)

AI & Product Requirements

Translate business needs into:

Product requirements

Functional specifications

Data requirements for AI models

Collaborate with ML engineers to define:

Input signals

Output metrics

Confidence scoring

Model evaluation criteria

Analytics & Insights

Analyze platform data to identify:

Hiring trends

Candidate success patterns

Decision inconsistencies

Support dashboard development for HR and executives

Convert raw data into clear business insights and recommendations

Continuous Improvement

Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis)

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across:

Product workflows

Interview experience

Customer onboarding

Support experimentation and A/B testing strategies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or related field

3+ years experience in:

Business analysis

Operations analysis

Quality engineering

Process improvement

Strong analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and metrics

Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams

Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred / Strong Plus

Experience with:

SQL, Excel, BI tools, dashboards

Process mapping (Visio, Lucid, Miro)

Background in:

Quality systems

Root cause analysis

Data-driven decision making

Exposure to:

SaaS platforms

HR tech

AI-driven products

Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification (strong plus)
