About the Role:
Capgemini is seeking a Data Scientist to join our AI & Analytics practice in Bengaluru. You will develop ML models and AI solutions for clients across banking, retail, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for client projects
- Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model selection
- Build NLP and computer vision solutions using deep learning
- Create data pipelines using Spark and cloud-based tools
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business problems
- Present model results and recommendations to technical and business audiences
- Write technical documentation and model cards
- Mentor junior data scientists
Requirements:
- 3+ years of data science experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, pandas)
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or time series analysis
- Solid SQL skills and experience with big data tools (Spark)
- Understanding of statistics and experimental design
- Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- MSc/MTech in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field preferred
