We are partnering with a rapidly growing, physician-led organization focused on delivering high-quality, value-based care to Medicare Advantage patients. This role offers the opportunity to lead clinical teams across multiple centers, driving clinical excellence, patient outcomes, and performance in a fully capitated care model.
Position Overview
The Clinical Medical Director is a senior physician leader responsible for overseeing clinical performance across multiple care centers within a defined market. This role is approximately 80% administrative and 20% clinical , with a strong focus on quality outcomes, provider leadership, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide leadership and oversight across multiple primary care centers
•
Coach, mentor, and develop physicians and clinical teams
•
Drive performance across key quality metrics
•
Lead initiatives to improve preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient engagement
•
Partner with operations leadership to ensure consistent execution of the care model
•
Support provider recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development
•
Maintain a small clinical panel (~100 patients annually)
The Model
•
Fully capitated, value-based care model focused on Medicare Advantage populations
•
Emphasis on outcomes over volume , including reducing hospitalizations and ER utilization
•
Smaller patient panels to allow for proactive, relationship-driven care
•
Integrated, team-based approach with strong clinical and operational alignment
Schedule & Structure
•
Monday-Friday schedule
•
No nights, weekends, or call
•
Market-level leadership with oversight of multiple centers

Ideal Candidate
•
Board-certified physician (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related)
•
Proven physician leadership experience in a multi-site or team-based environment
•
Experience with value-based care, Medicare Advantage, HEDIS/STAR performance, and population health initiatives strongly preferred
•
Data-driven mindset with ability to translate metrics into actionable clinical improvements
•
Passion for improving patient outcomes and leading high-performing teams
