About the Role:
ChipSoft is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to work on HiX, the Netherlands' leading hospital information system used by over 80 hospitals. You will develop features that directly impact patient care and hospital operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases
- Build RESTful APIs for hospital information system integrations
- Collaborate with healthcare domain experts and product owners
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in agile sprints and code reviews
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions
- Support production systems and incident resolution
Requirements:
- 3+ years of C#/.NET development experience
- Strong SQL Server skills
- Understanding of REST API design
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Interest in healthcare IT and patient care improvement
- Good English; Dutch is a plus
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
