The Omaha VA Medical Center is seeking a talented Inpatient Acute Care Psychiatrist to join an outstanding multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving America's Veterans. This is an exceptional opportunity for a psychiatrist who is at least five years beyond residency training and is looking to make a lasting impact through clinical excellence, teaching, mentorship, and leadership.

Meaningful Clinical Practice

Full-time, onsite inpatient psychiatry position

Provide care within our Acute Psychiatry service and support inpatient and emergency department psychiatric needs

Manage a patient census of approximately 8-12 patients daily

Collaborative team-based care model with strong interdisciplinary support

Shared call schedule of approximately one week per quarter (4 weeks annually)
Academic & Teaching Environment

Work alongside Psychiatry Residents on both services

Teach, mentor, and help shape the next generation of psychiatrists
