The Providence VA Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team and serve the men and women who have served our nation. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, offering an exceptional work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Veterans.
Position Highlights & Responsibilities

Comprehensive Primary Care : Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans.

Multi-Disciplinary Teamwork : Collaborate within a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) including an RN care manager, LPN, clinical pharmacist, psychologists, and social workers to deliver coordinated, wrap-around care.

Education & Mentorship: Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other learners, fostering the next generation of clinicians.

Integrated Support Services: Work in a system that provides seamless access to social work, travel assistance, housing, and pharmacy services-without the hassles of pre-authorizations or multiple formularies.

Small-Clinic Feel, Large-System Resources: Choose to work at the main facility with a large academic-center feel, or one of our small community clinics. Documentation & Compliance: Utilize an interoperable electronic health record (EHR) that connects seamlessly with the Department of Defense and other federal partners, enhanced with advanced technology-including AI tools-to support high-quality, efficient day-to-day patient care and enable robust population-level health analysis.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
