About this role

The Business Continuous Improvement Management position is a leader in solutioning on recordkeeping transformation (RKT), strategic, and change-the-business (CTB) initiatives through analysis, design, develop, execute, and monitor phases, while serving as a key subject matter expert in Individual and Institutional Recordkeeping products, services and systems. Working under limited supervision, this role collaborates with business and technology teams across the organization to identify and execute improvement strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.

Key business processes supported: include Money In, Money Movement, Money Out

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provides expertise on potential process enhancements that would improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness within the organization.
  • Manages large projects and processes in the continuous improvement space, along with coaching and mentoring others.
  • Reviews and approves business requirements, and participating in planning sessions, ensuring priorities are appropriately included
  • Reviews current state process documentation including process flows Collaborates with key stakeholders across the organization to execute on improvement strategies
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and provides clarity on capability and feature requirements and prioritization
  • Reviews end-to-end test scenarios and validates solutions to meet business requirements
  • Provides demos/walkthroughs to support UAT and business readiness
  • Supports rollout strategy, including readiness checkout activities to ensure launch preparedness
  • Monitors health of newly implemented processes and solutions during warranty period.
  • Supports and responds to current state issues, as needed

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of process improvement, operations, or consulting experience
  • Experience with MS Office products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience leveraging data, monitoring metrics, sharing results with leadership
  • Experience operating as liaison between technology and business, and provide subject matter expertise

Preferred Skills:

  • Retirement & Retail financial services experience
  • Strong knowledge of TIAA products, services and systems
  • Strong experience supporting strategic and transformational continuous improvement projects/programs
  • Knowledge of and familiarity of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including Confluence, Jira Align, Sharepoint
  • Experience presenting and taking direction from executive leadership

Base Pay Range: $108,000/yr - $158,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
