Project Coordinator — Demolition/Restoration Elder Demolition — Portland, OR Salary: $55,000 - $72,000 per year About Us: Elder Demolition based in Portland, Oregon is a fully licensed and insured commercial and industrial demolition contractor. We have certifications for hazardous waste handling as well as broad experience with LEED-certified green demolitions, demolition asset recovery and scrap metal demolition. In addition we provide scrap metal and concrete recycling services and clean up of hazardous materials on site. Customers can even offset the cost our demolition services by selling us their scrap metal. We work with general contractors and property owners to provide industrial and commercial demoli Position Overview: We are looking for a Project Coordinator to manage project scheduling, documentation, and customer communication for our demolition and restoration projects. You will be the organizational hub connecting field crews, customers, and management. Responsibilities: - Coordinate project schedules, crew assignments, and material deliveries - Serve as primary point of contact for customers throughout their project - Prepare project documentation including scopes of work, permits, and change orders - Track project budgets, costs, and billing milestones - Prepare and submit insurance estimates and supplements using Xactimate software - Communicate with insurance adjusters and public adjusters - Maintain organized project files (digital and physical) - Assist project managers with reporting and administrative tasks - Schedule inspections, testing, and subcontractor work - Follow up on project completion, customer satisfaction, and warranty items Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in construction or restoration project coordination - Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software preferred - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software - Experience working with insurance companies is a plus - Associate's degree or higher preferred - Customer-focused with problem-solving mindset Benefits: - Competitive salary - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Professional development opportunities - Supportive team environment Elder Demolition is an equal opportunity employer.
