Construction Laborer Elevate Building Commissioning — Portland, OR Salary: $38,000 - $52,000 per year About Us: New Building Commissioning Professional Engineers licensed in OR, WA, MA Our building commissioning service includes Owner’s Project Requirements development and an owner integrated project closeout process so that your team is quickly up to speed on your new building’s operation and maintenance procedures. We provide each project with a detailed commissioning plan including custom specifications, detailed reviews at various project phases and detailed Functional Performance Tests that we conduct. Existing Building Commissioning Oregon Energy Trust Trade Ally We test and troubleshoot equipmen Position Overview: We are hiring a Construction Laborer to support our field crews on various residential and commercial projects in the Portland metro area. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and wants to grow in the construction industry. Responsibilities: - Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks - Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment on job sites - Perform site preparation including demolition, cleanup, and debris removal - Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently - Follow instructions from foremen and superintendents - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times - Assist with concrete work, framing, finish work, or other tasks as assigned Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred - Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions - Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time consistently - Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices - Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly - Willingness to learn and take direction - Valid driver's license preferred - OSHA 10 certification is a plus Benefits: - Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities - Health insurance - Paid holidays - On-the-job training and skill development - Opportunity for advancement into skilled trade positions Elevate Building Commissioning is an equal opportunity employer.
