Job Details
EAS is partnering with an established confidential client to identify an experienced attorney with significant in-house legal and litigation experience to work with General Counsel on the management of complex litigation. The ideal candidate combines strong litigation expertise with stellar judgment and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. You will provide proactive guidance to mitigate risk and manage litigation matters in an Associate General Counsel – Litigation role. This is a limited duration role anticipated to last 9-12+ months with opportunity for extension with this or other clients/projects, as well as a temp to perm opportunity.
If you have at least eight years of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, proven success taking the lead on class action litigation matters, outstanding interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail and interest in working for a leading organization, we encourage you to apply!
We are actively seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with the following qualifications:
JD Degree from an accredited institution and an active bar license in good standing in a U.S. state
Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model
8+ years of complex litigation experience in an in-house corporate role or law firm corporate litigation practice
2+ years of experience with eDiscovery and database tools
Extensive experience managing all aspects of complex litigation, but specifically class action litigation
Strong knowledge of the discovery process including preparing for depositions, fact research and drafting of fact memoranda
Experience in all phases of the EDRM, such as identification, preservation, collection, review, production of documents, and quality assurance testing of coding calls
Familiarity with Relativity eDiscovery tool
Experience in document review or stakeholder management at a law firm, in-house legal department, or consulting firm
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Compensation
$100 – 120 per hour, commensurate with experience
This role is NOT an FTE role but rather an LDE (Limited Duration Employee) role
