We are hiring a Field Service Technician for our location in Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of aerospace test stands at our customer’s site
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customer service
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and manage tooling and support equipment
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance service delivery
- Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
Qualifications
- Associate of Applied Science or High School Diploma/Technical Certificate with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in time-critical environments
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 60% across North America — domestic US & Canada; periodic international (Austria, Mexico, Latin America)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred
- AME license (like FAA A&P or Transport Canada)
- Experience with GSE certification and regulatory requirements
- Background in avionics or electronic test systems
- Experience with airline QA processes or military aviation
