About the Role:
Join Google's Envisioning Studio, where you'll help define the future of AI-powered user experiences. This team sits at the intersection of design, technology, and research, creating concept prototypes and design visions that shape Google's product direction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design exploration for future AI-powered products and interactions
- Create high-fidelity prototypes, concept videos, and design artifacts that communicate product vision
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product managers to translate AI capabilities into user experiences
- Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points related to AI interactions
- Develop design principles and frameworks for responsible AI design
- Present work to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Contribute to Google's broader design culture through mentorship and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and interaction design skills
- Experience designing for AI/ML-powered products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Experience with motion design and prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie, Framer)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and AI capabilities
- Experience with design systems and scalable design frameworks
- Published design research or presentations at design conferences
