Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations. You will be responsible for managing daily field activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety on every project. Responsibilities: - Oversee daily construction operations on assigned projects from start to completion - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project managers and owners - Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel - Conduct daily job site meetings and safety briefings - Review blueprints, specifications, and submittals to ensure work meets design intent - Monitor and enforce quality control standards throughout all phases of construction - Maintain accurate daily logs, progress photos, and project documentation - Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety policies - Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and potential delays proactively - Manage material deliveries, equipment logistics, and site organization Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Foreman in commercial or residential construction - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes - Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with construction scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) - OSHA 30 certification required - Valid driver's license with clean driving record - First Aid/CPR certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive salary with performance bonuses - Company vehicle and gas card - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid vacation and holidays - Continuing education and professional development support Hugh Development is an equal opportunity employer.
