Job Title: Compliance & Risk Manager (Program Manager V) Location : Remote (US) – Preference for West Coast (PST) candidates Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension) We are looking for an experienced Compliance & Risk Manager to lead complex risk assessments and drive compliance initiatives across product-facing environments. This role requires a strong blend of compliance expertise, technical understanding, and program management, with a focus on ensuring products meet global privacy and data protection standards. Responsibilities: Conduct deep-dive risk assessments across privacy, data protection, and employment-related compliance areas. Apply and maintain structured risk frameworks to evaluate complex compliance risks. Partner with engineering and technical teams to understand system architecture, data flows, and infrastructure. Support high-priority data review programs, managing workflows with strong attention to speed, accuracy, and detail. Influence product development through “compliance by design” principles. Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies across cross-functional stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or assurance. Strong knowledge of privacy regulations and data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, or similar). Solid technical understanding of data systems, infrastructure, and data processing. Proven ability to operate with analytical rigor, structured thinking, and precision under pressure. Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a track record of end-to-end program delivery. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in product or technology-driven environments. Background in compliance programs supporting large-scale platforms or systems. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
