About the Role:
Johnson Controls is seeking a UX Designer to create intuitive interfaces for our building automation and smart building products. You will design experiences that help facility managers operate and optimize commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile building management applications
- Conduct user research with building operators and facility managers
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers in agile teams
- Validate designs through usability testing
- Design for IoT dashboards and real-time data visualization
- Present design work to stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience with user research methods
- Understanding of data visualization and dashboard design
- Experience with IoT or industrial applications preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
