Position Highlights

Dedicated time for clinical and administrative responsibilities

Lead an established team of hospitalists, nocturnists, and advanced practice providers

Collaborate closely with hospital leadership, nursing, case management, quality, and physician colleagues

Drive initiatives focused on quality, patient experience, throughput, and operational excellence

Leadership Responsibilities
•
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Hospital Medicine program
•
Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing physicians and advanced providers
•
Develop and monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives
•
Partner with hospital administration to improve efficiency, length of stay, and care coordination
•
Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and teamwork
•
Participate in physician engagement and service line growth initiatives
Candidate Qualifications
•
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
•
Minimum of 5 years of hospitalist experience preferred
•
Prior leadership experience as Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Chief Hospitalist, or similar role needed
•
Strong communication and team-building skills
•
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
