About the Role:
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will be responsible for full-lifecycle recruiting for technology roles across our enterprise, including software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure positions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified technical candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and employer branding
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview processes, and timelines
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess technical qualifications and cultural fit
- Coordinate and facilitate technical interview panels
- Manage candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates
- Participate in diversity recruiting initiatives and employer branding events
- Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with 3+ years focused on technology roles
- Experience recruiting for software engineering, data science, cloud, and cybersecurity positions
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday, Greenhouse, or similar)
- Experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow)
- Strong understanding of technical skills, programming languages, and technology stacks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize effectively
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus
