Job description:
Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents
Assist in managing the legal department's budget, tracking expenses, and processing invoices
Support the implementation of legal department initiatives and projects, including process improvements and technology implementations
Coordinate, manage, or provide support regarding the department's legal technology solutions, including document management systems and e-billing platforms
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, organize, and maintain legal documents and records
Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and materials for internal and external meetings
Assist with the coordination and execution of legal training and professional development programs
Contribute to vendor management by maintaining relationships and coordinating contracts and agreements
Manage or assist in tracking legal department metrics and key performance indicators
Contribute to the optimization of legal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Need someone who:
Can pick up admin-heavy tasks to reduce day-to-day burden
Is a quick learner with an interest in legal ops and AI
Could grow into a full-time role over time
Is comfortable supporting attorneys and responding to law firm/vendor questions
Strong interest in AI
Strong learning opportunity for someone early in legal ops or legal tech.
Knowledge of SimpleLegal and Ironclad nice, but not required
