About the Role:
NMC Healthcare is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations for our hospital group in the UAE. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls for multiple healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee internal controls and ensure audit readiness
- Partner with hospital administrators on financial performance
- Manage a team of accountants and financial analysts
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax)
- Support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions
Requirements:
- 8+ years of finance experience with management responsibilities
- CA, CMA, or ACCA qualification
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE regulations
- Experience with SAP or Oracle financials
- Healthcare or hospital industry experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent English; Arabic is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
