About this role

About Novaflow

Novaflow is the AI data analyst for biology labs. Analytics is the bottleneck for scientific discovery. Biologists have to outsource analysis to expensive bioinformaticians or core services and wait weeks or months for results. We're solving this by putting analysis directly back into the hands of researchers, allowing them to go from raw data to publication-ready insights and visualizations in days instead of months. We're well-funded, growing extremely fast, and backed by leading investors including Y Combinator and BioRender.

About the Role

We're hiring growth interns to help build and scale the outbound engine that drives our go-to-market. You'll research target accounts, write outreach campaigns, build signal-driven lead lists, and help engineer a repeatable sales motion from scratch. The pipeline you build will directly translate into revenue.

This is not a sit-in-the-corner internship. We're a small team and you'll work directly with the founders on real problems from day one. We're looking for someone with high agency who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do. Biology background is not required.

This role can be remote or in-person at our San Francisco office. There is potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance.

What You'll Work On

Research target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and build high-quality prospect lists

Write and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and events

Help build and iterate on our repeatable go-to-market playbook

Develop sales collateral, one-pagers, and demo materials for different customer segments

Track and analyze campaign performance and iterate on messaging weekly

Help build and maintain our CRM and outreach infrastructure

Support partnership and BD conversations across biotech and pharma

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field

Strong writing skills. You can draft a compelling cold email that doesn't sound like it was written by a chatbot

Comfortable with ambiguity and biased toward action; you'd rather send an imperfect email today than a perfect one next week

Organized and detail-oriented, especially when managing lists, outreach sequences, and follow-ups

Genuine curiosity about science, biotech, or healthcare. You don't need a biology degree, but you should be excited to learn the language

Good communicator who can explain their thinking clearly

Nice to Have

Prior experience in B2B sales, SDR/BDR roles, or startup growth

Familiarity with outreach and data tools (Apollo, Clay, Instantly, HubSpot, Phantom, Zapier) or CRM systems

Background in life sciences, pre-med, or experience working in a research lab

Experience at or connections to top research institutions or academic medical centers

Previous startup experience (prior experience either working for or founding a startup)

Why Join Us?

Competitive intern compensation

Meals covered when you're in the office (lunch daily, dinner when you're working late)

Opportunity to convert to a full-time founding team role

Work directly with the founders with full visibility into product strategy, customer conversations, and fundraising

Real responsibility from day one at a fast-growing YC company

If you're curious about being a founder one day, this is your front-row seat
