Position Overview:
We are hiring a Restoration Technician to respond to water, fire, mold, and storm damage emergencies. You will help property owners recover from disasters by performing professional restoration services.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency water, fire, and storm damage calls (24/7 rotation)
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
- Perform water extraction using truck-mounted and portable extraction equipment
- Conduct moisture mapping and documentation using moisture meters and thermal cameras
- Remove damaged building materials including drywall, flooring, and insulation
- Perform mold remediation following IICRC S520 standards
- Clean, deodorize, and sanitize contents and structures affected by fire and smoke
- Document all work with photos, moisture readings, and detailed reports
- Communicate with property owners and insurance adjusters
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment
Qualifications:
- Prior restoration experience preferred but not required — will train
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls on a rotating basis
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in environments with water damage, mold, and smoke residue
- High school diploma or GED required
