Summary Of Job Description Under the supervision of a Senior Attorney or Senior Manager, Due Diligence, the Legal Due Diligence Associate Attorney contributes to the management of real estate transactions overseeing the legal due diligence, participating in contract negotiations and project management activities for real estate transactions. This position may participate in vendor relationship building and negotiations. Job Responsibilities Assists in managing real estate transactions within Legal Real Estate and RD under the oversight of a more experienced attorney. Participates in contract negotiations, administration, and project management activities for a wide variety of due diligence real estate transactions including third-party consents. Assists in building a real estate network involving ongoing interaction with real estate managers and brokers, construction managers, design managers, development managers, outside legal counsel, third-party business development parties, real estate attorneys, and department leaders. May manage and amend vendor agreements and vendor accounting and payment procedures, and create vendor cost summaries and reports. Actively participates in Real Estate and Legal team meetings. May assist in reviewing vendor agreements, track vendor payment processes, and prepare basic vendor cost summaries and reports. Participates in Real Estate and Legal team meetings. Prepares various ancillary agreements and documents for real estate pipeline projects to support the company’s growth strategies. Assists with correspondence related to deliverables, contract changes, related expenses, and/or payments. Receives and analyzes real estate title reports and Phase 1 & 2 Environmental proposals. Oversees technical evaluation with appropriate internal partners and recommends to real estate attorneys modifications to real estate agreements to finalize real estate legal transactions. Prepares contract documents and obtains required signatures; distributes contracts in collaboration with the company’s Real Estate Legal and Real Estate Development functions. May coach and mentor Due Diligence paralegals to elevate their performance. Pay Range: L1: $112,500 - $158,000/ Annual Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
