About the Role:
PayU is seeking a Product Manager to drive our payments product strategy. You will define and deliver payment solutions for merchants across India, working at the intersection of technology and financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Define product vision and roadmap for payment gateway features
- Write product requirements and user stories for engineering teams
- Conduct market research on UPI, cards, wallets, and emerging payment methods
- Analyze product metrics and user behavior to identify opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams
- Manage regulatory compliance requirements for payment products
- Conduct merchant research and competitive analysis
- Present product strategy to leadership and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience in fintech or payments
- Deep understanding of Indian digital payments ecosystem (UPI, IMPS, cards)
- Experience with API-based products and technical integrations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Understanding of RBI regulations and payment compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- B.Tech and/or MBA from a reputed institution
