Landscape Crew Leader Pete Wilson Stoneworks Inc. — Portland, OR Salary: $48,000 - $65,000 per year About Us: Dry-stack stonemasonry for diverse residential, commerical and public applications, serving landscape architects, designers, building contractors and homeowners. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Landscape Crew Leader to manage a crew of 3-5 landscape workers. You will lead daily operations on landscape installation and maintenance projects, ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise landscape crews on installation and maintenance projects - Install plants, trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, and ground cover materials - Build and install hardscape features including patios, retaining walls, pathways, and fire pits - Operate landscape equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, and trucks - Train crew members on proper techniques, equipment operation, and safety - Communicate with customers regarding project progress and any changes - Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe - Complete daily time sheets, material logs, and job reports - Coordinate with the office on scheduling, material orders, and equipment needs - Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working condition Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in commercial or residential landscaping - Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and landscape design principles native to the Pacific Northwest - Experience operating landscape equipment (skid steer, excavator, trucks) - Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a crew - Valid driver's license with CDL (Class B) preferred - Oregon Landscape Contractor's License or ability to obtain - Irrigation system knowledge is a plus - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Benefits: - Competitive pay - Health and dental insurance - Paid holidays and vacation - Company vehicle - Year-round work (seasonal overtime available) - Advancement opportunities Pete Wilson Stoneworks Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
