Landscape Laborer Pete Wilson Stoneworks Inc. — Portland, OR Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year About Us: Dry-stack stonemasonry for diverse residential, commerical and public applications, serving landscape architects, designers, building contractors and homeowners. Position Overview: We are hiring Landscape Laborers to join our installation and maintenance crews. This is an entry-level position with great opportunities for growth in the landscaping industry. Responsibilities: - Assist with landscape installations including grading, planting, and mulching - Dig trenches for irrigation and drainage systems - Move and spread materials such as soil, gravel, bark, and pavers - Assist with hardscape projects including retaining walls, patios, and walkways - Perform general site cleanup and debris removal - Operate basic hand and power tools safely - Follow instructions from crew leaders and project managers - Maintain equipment and help load/unload trucks Qualifications: - No prior experience required — training provided - Ability to perform heavy physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions - Reliable transportation and ability to arrive at the shop on time - Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly - Valid driver's license preferred - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Authorized to work in the United States Benefits: - Competitive starting pay with regular raises - Overtime available during peak season - Health insurance - Paid holidays - On-the-job training - Advancement to crew leader positions Pete Wilson Stoneworks Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
