Roofing Technician / Installer Pioneer Waterproofing Company Inc. — Portland, OR Salary: $42,000 - $60,000 per year About Us: Specializes in Masonry Restoration, Concrete Repair, Industrial Flooring, Waterproofing of Commercial buildings Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Roofing Technician to install, repair, and replace roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities: - Install roofing systems including composition shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofing membranes - Perform tear-offs of existing roofing materials and prepare roof decks for new installations - Install underlayment, ice and water shield, flashing, and ventilation components - Repair leaks, damaged shingles, and deteriorated flashing - Operate roofing tools and equipment safely including nail guns, saws, and hoists - Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and local building codes - Maintain a clean and safe job site, including proper debris disposal - Work as part of a crew, following foreman instructions and project timelines Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience in roofing installation - Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques - Comfortable working at heights on steep and flat roofs - Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - OSHA 10 certification preferred - Positive attitude and strong work ethic Benefits: - Competitive hourly pay with overtime - Health insurance - Paid holidays - Year-round work availability - Training and skill development - Advancement opportunities to foreman and lead positions Pioneer Waterproofing Company Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
