. Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid and current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state or region.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Experience with patient assessment and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Certification in specialized areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, or sports physical therapy.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Continuing education or training in advanced therapeutic modalities and manual therapy.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient function and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and integrate best practices into patient care.
