About the Role:
Sago Mini is looking for a UX Designer to help create delightful, safe, and educational experiences for children. You will design apps and digital products that spark imagination while meeting the highest standards of child safety.
Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and engaging user experiences for children's apps and games
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Conduct user research with children and parents (moderated playtesting sessions)
- Collaborate with engineers, illustrators, and product managers
- Contribute to and maintain design systems and pattern libraries
- Ensure accessibility and COPPA compliance in all designs
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics data
- Present design work to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience with mobile app design (iOS and Android)
- Understanding of user research methods and usability testing
- Passion for designing for children and families
- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
