Legal Administrative Assistant Job Details
Put your legal and organizational skills to work at Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest law firms in the Western United States. We currently have an opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Denver office.
We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in our busy litigation and transactional practice groups. This role requires a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
The hours for this position are from _Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a hybrid schedule.
_ Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal teams in corporate and transactional practices
Prepare, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, agreements, closing binders, and signature packets
Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining case files, evidence, and exhibits
Coordinate document execution through DocuSign and manage closing logistics
Assist with entity formations, corporate filings, UCC filings, and maintenance of corporate records
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursements
Open new matters, process conflict checks, and assist with client onboarding
Prepare and submit time entries, billing edits, and expense reports
Organize and maintain electronic files within document management systems, including updating case files
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, experts, and internal departments
Prepare and ensure timely filing of legal documents with the court
Monitor and track deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Experience And Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or business environment, preferred
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency
Possess excellent proofing and editing skills
Strong attention to detail
The pay range for this position is $31.75 to $36.40 per hour depending on years of experience.
