About the Role:
Solarize is looking for a Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between our solar technology solutions and enterprise customers. You will provide technical expertise in the sales process, conducting demonstrations and designing custom solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise during enterprise sales cycles
- Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations
- Design custom solutions based on customer requirements
- Create technical proposals and architecture diagrams
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on customer feedback
- Support RFP/RFI responses with technical content
- Attend industry events and represent Solarize's technical capabilities
- Train sales team on product features and competitive positioning
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or pre-sales
- Technical background in software engineering or IT
- Experience with SaaS products and cloud technologies
- Knowledge of renewable energy or energy management preferred
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Fluent German and English
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
