About this role
AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) is building toward a future where every business innovates with Amazon AI teammates. To get there, we build AI solutions that improve human capabilities and transform entire business functions. We create end-to-end products that surprise and delight out-of-the-box, making complex things easy and hard things possible, with no cloud experience required. We start with customers who embrace the future and build bridges to meet the rest where they are. We pursue ambitious opportunities with conviction, and we are looking for builders who share that mindset.
AWS Support Studio is the creative engine for AWS Support - producing video, digital, and social content that enables customers and shapes how the world experiences AWS Support. We are at an inflection point: generative AI is fundamentally changing what's possible in content production and we need a strategic leader who can connect business problems to creative solutions at scale.
As the Sr. Creative Strategist you will own the strategic direction of Support Studio's creative output. This is a strategic role that sits at the intersection of creative direction, business intelligence, and AI-enabled innovation. Your deliverables are strategies, frameworks, briefs, and recommendations - not finished creative assets. You will not carry a production workload. You will evaluate how critical business challenges (revenue growth, customer perception, proactive engagement) can be addressed through creative interventions. You will identify where AI can replace or augment traditional production workflows develop frameworks for measuring creative impact on business outcomes and partner across AWS to position Support Studio as a strategic asset rather than a production service.
You will work alongside Support Studio's producers and creative leads - providing strategic direction shaping briefs and partnering on prioritization. Your strategies become their roadmap; their production insights sharpen your strategy. You are the decision-maker on creative direction within Support Studio; you influence cross-functional partners on priorities and resourcing.
The ideal candidate combines deep creative instincts with strong business acumen. You understand the economics of content production can build a compelling narrative around ROI and are excited by the challenge of defining what a "creative team" looks like in an AI-first world.
