Paralegal Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid) Duration: 6 month contract + possible extension Pay: $40-50/hr W2 Position Summary We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Paralegal to support attorneys with legal research, documentation preparation, case management, and administrative legal functions. The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience working in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including contracts, pleadings, subpoenas, affidavits, and correspondence. Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys and legal teams. Organize and maintain case files, legal records, and document management systems. Assist with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and discovery processes. Coordinate document collection, review, and filing with courts and regulatory agencies. Monitor deadlines and maintain legal calendars to ensure timely filings and responses. Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties professionally and confidentially. Support attorneys with case strategy preparation and administrative legal tasks. Ensure compliance with legal procedures, policies, and confidentiality requirements. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred. 3-5 years of paralegal experience preferred. Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document filing processes. Experience with legal research tools and case management software. Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems. Preferred Experience Experience supporting litigation, corporate, employment, real estate, healthcare, or insurance law practices. Familiarity with e-filing systems and legal billing processes. Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines effectively.
