You will be responsible for installing new heating and cooling systems in residential and light commercial properties throughout the Portland metro area. Responsibilities: - Install new furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, and related equipment - Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork and fittings - Connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and condensate drains per code - Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning after installation - Follow all manufacturer installation guidelines and local building codes - Coordinate with project leads and other trades on job sites - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times - Complete installation paperwork and warranty registration documents Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in HVAC installation - Knowledge of residential HVAC equipment and ductwork systems - Ability to braze copper tubing and work with refrigerants - Familiarity with Oregon mechanical codes and permit requirements - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and on rooftops - Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and work on feet for extended periods - Strong work ethic and attention to detail Benefits: - Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities - Health and dental insurance - Paid holidays and vacation - Company-provided tools and uniforms - Apprenticeship and certification support Sun Glow Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
