On any given day we hope that you will:
• Account Leadership — Own the client relationship alongside the executive sponsor, managing scope, expectations, and project governance.
• Serve as a client-facing expert, translating complex technical concepts into business-relevant insights and recommendations.
• Work with the project manager to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Manage client stakeholder expectations alongside the project leader and executive sponsor.
• Drive and/or support the breakdown of work within the team's work management tool for the data science and data engineering workstreams.
• Facilitate workshops, lead client meetings, and contribute to solution design with a clear understanding of business goals.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and internal capability development.
• Lead and execute data science and data engineering work streams within AI strategy and implementation projects, with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
• Assess client data ecosystems and architect scalable, secure, and resilient Data and AI infrastructure using modern cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).
• Design and build robust data pipelines, analytics workflows, and machine learning models.
• Advise clients on infrastructure strategy, including cloud platform selection, cost optimization, data governance, and MLOps maturity.

In order to succeed, you will need to have some combination of the following:
• 10+ years of professional experience in data science, data engineering, or applied AI roles, preferably within a technology consulting or professional services environment.
• Demonstrated client-facing experience, including stakeholder communication, solution presentation, and project leadership in a professional services organization.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, business-oriented language for executive audiences.
• Experience leading project work streams, managing deliverables, and mentoring junior team members.
• Proficiency in tools/languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including its core data, analytics, and AI/ML services.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing data-intensive infrastructure, such as data lakes, data warehouses, or lakehouse platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and ability to manage ambiguity in fast-paced engagements.

This is a contract position with part-time or full-time hours available.
