We work with all types of metals and finishes, from polished stainless steel food processing equipment, to mild steel mill platforms and ladders. From machinery manufacturing to marine construction and so much more it would be difficult to imagine a fabrication or installation situation too difficult for us to not only perform, but exceed our customers' expectations. Position Overview: We are seeking a Glazier / Glass Installer to install glass, mirrors, shower enclosures, storefronts, and curtain wall systems in commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities: - Install flat glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, and insulated glass units - Install commercial storefront systems, entrance doors, and curtain wall systems - Install residential windows, mirrors, shower enclosures, and glass railings - Cut glass to size using glass cutters and CNC equipment - Apply silicone sealants, glazing compounds, and structural adhesives - Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings for glass specifications - Take accurate field measurements for custom glass orders - Use suction cups, cranes, and rigging to handle large glass panels safely - Ensure all installations meet building codes and safety glazing requirements - Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in glass installation or glazing - Knowledge of glass types, glazing systems, and installation techniques - Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings - Comfortable working at heights and handling heavy glass panels - Valid driver's license - Strong attention to detail and precision craftsmanship - Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs with assistance - OSHA 10 certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive pay - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) plan - Paid holidays and vacation - Company vehicle and tools - Training on new glazing systems and technologies The Lynch Company is an equal opportunity employer.
