About the Role:
Tranched is seeking a Data Scientist to develop ML models for our financial technology platform. You will build predictive models that help optimize credit decisions and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop machine learning models for credit risk and financial analytics
- Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Build data pipelines and automate model workflows
- Analyze large financial datasets to identify patterns and opportunities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on model deployment
- Present findings to stakeholders
- Document models and methodologies
Requirements:
- 3+ years of data science experience
- Strong Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost)
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing
- Understanding of statistics and machine learning theory
- Experience in financial services or fintech preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- MSc in quantitative field preferred
