The UPMC Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented cardiothoracic anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Altoona. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology, be fellowship-trained in cardiac anesthesiology, and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.


• Cardiac position
• Schedule: daylight coverage, M-F 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Call: All days - beeper call 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
• Hospital has 13 anesthesiologists and 31 CRNAs
