Landscape Designer Urban Forest Pro — Portland, OR Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year About Us: Urban Forest Pro is a full service tree care company serving Portland Metro Area clients with top quality tree services for the past 15 years. Our tree services are done exclusively by ISA certified arborists. This is what sets us apart from the competition, which may have one or two certified arborists as supervisors or owners. At Urban Forest the actual arborists providing your tree services are certified. We are Position Overview: We are seeking a creative Landscape Designer to create beautiful, functional outdoor living spaces for our residential and commercial clients. You will work closely with customers from concept through installation. Responsibilities: - Meet with clients to understand their vision, needs, budget, and site conditions - Create landscape design plans including planting, hardscape, lighting, and irrigation layouts - Produce professional design presentations using CAD, SketchUp, or hand drawings - Select plants, materials, and features appropriate for the Pacific Northwest climate - Prepare project estimates and material specifications - Coordinate with installation crews to ensure designs are built as intended - Conduct site visits during construction to monitor design implementation - Stay current on landscape design trends, sustainable practices, and native plantings - Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional design and service Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in landscape design - Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software - Strong knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants, soils, and climate considerations - Excellent visual and spatial design skills - Strong communication and client presentation abilities - Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field preferred - Portfolio of completed landscape design projects - Oregon Landscape Architect license is a plus Benefits: - Competitive salary - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Professional development support - Collaborative and creative work environment Urban Forest Pro is an equal opportunity employer.
